How to choose the remote sliding door motor?

 For villa and some high-end venues, their owner all hope that the door can open automatically. At this time, a sliding door opening motor must be installed. So how should the sliding door motor be selected?

1. Select the door opener according to the weight of the door:

No matter what type of door body is, the weight of the door body can be calculated according to the specific gravity of the material after the drawing is confirmed. Usually, the motor is marked with the parameter of the weight of the door body. Be sure to make the parameter of the weight of the motor greater  20% the door body,  such as 600 kg motor for a 500 kg door body to offset the friction coefficient of the door body,which can enhance the service life of the motor.

2. Select the door opener according to the frequency of use:

The optional DC motor is used to open and close the door more than 150 times a day to support frequent opening. In case of rebound, batteries can be installed in places where power is often interrupted.

It is recommended to choose an AC motor when you don't use it frequently. The Ac motor's power is strong, it is suitable for heavy doors  and  the price is more economical.
