Electric sliding doors have been widely used in daily life. For villa doors, government or factory doors, no matter what kind of material the door, as long as you want to achieve automatic opening, you must install a sliding door opening motor. So how to choose the sliding door motor?

1. Select the door opener according to the weight of the door:

Regardless of the material of the door, the weight of the door can be calculated according to the specific gravity of the material after the drawing is confirmed. Usually, the motor is marked with the parameter that bears the weight of the door. Be sure to make the motor load-bearing parameter more than 20% of the door weight, For example, a 600 kg motor should be selected for a 500 kg door to offset the friction coefficient of the door, avoid "Small Horse Carrying Big Cart" and reduce the  service life of the motor.

2. Select the door opener according to the frequency of use:

The door is opened and closed more than 150 times a day. The optional DC motor supports frequent opening. Rebound in case of resistance, and batteries can be installed in places where power is often cut off.

It is recommended to select an AC motor for opening and closing the door less than 150 times, which has strong power and is suitable for heavy doors. The price is more economical. The motor overheating protection function will not rebound without resistance.
