The concept of bridge rectifier
Bridge rectifier is a rectifier tube enclosed in a housing. There are full bridges and half bridges. A full bridge is a connected bridge rectifier circuit with four diodes sealed together. A half bridge is a bridge rectifier with two diodes sealed together, with two half bridges can form a bridge rectifier circuit, a half bridge can also form a transformer with a centre tap full wave rectifier circuit, the choice of rectifier bridge to consider the rectifier circuit and operating voltage.

Naming rules
General bridge rectifier naming in 3 numbers, the first number represents the rated current, A; the last two numbers represent the rated voltage (number * 100), V
For example: KBL410 i.e. 4A, 1000V. RS507 i.e. 5A, 700V.(1234567 represents voltage grades of 50V, 100V, 200V, 400V, 600V, 800V, 1000V respectively).
Bridge rectifier heat sink substrate temperature distribution
The substrate temperature distribution of the bridge rectifier heat sink is relatively uniform, around 70 °C. Even in the four diodes directly below the temperature and the back of the rectifier bridge housing and the heat sink in contact with the outer edge, there is only a temperature difference of about 5 ℃. This is mainly due to the fact that the heat sink substrate is a certain thickness and good thermal conductivity of the aluminium plate, which can effectively homogenise the uneven temperature at the back of the bridge rectifier.
Structure
Bridge rectifiers are usually made up of two or four rectifier silicon chips connected as a bridge, two as a half bridge and four as a full bridge. The external insulation is made of insulating material, and the high-power bridge rectifier is encapsulated with a zinc metal shell outside the insulation layer to enhance heat dissipation.

命名规则
一般整流桥命名中有3个数字,前一个数字代表额定电流,A;后两个数字代表额定电压(数字*100),V
如:KBL410 即4A,1000V 。RS507 即5A,700V。(1234567分别代表电压档的50V,100V,200V,400V,600V,800V,1000V)。
整流桥散热器基板温度分布
整流桥散热器的基板温度分布相对而言还是比较均匀的,约70 ℃左右。即使在四个二极管正下方的温度与整流桥壳体背面与散热器相接触的外边缘,也仅仅只有5 ℃左右的温差。这主要是由于散热器基板是一有一定厚度且导热性能较好的铝板,它能够有效地把整流桥背面的不均匀温度进行均匀化。
结构
整流桥通常是由两只或四只整流硅芯片作桥式连接,两只的为半桥,四只的则称全桥。外部采用绝缘朔料封装而成,大功率整流桥在绝缘层外添加锌金属壳包封,增强散热性能。
